Nats set to take on reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers spent their day in D.C. shaking hands with the President before taking on the Nats tonight. Here’s hoping they’re batting averages take a dip by the end of this series, just like the stock market lately.
The odds of that happening tonight would be better than any as Mackenzie Gore will be on the bump. Gore will be looking for a bounce back game after a so-so performance against the Blue Jays last time out.
C.J. Abrams will be out tonight after his right thigh tightened on the final play of yesterday’s game. Meaning James Wood will hit lead off in his place. Alex Call has a big opportunity tonight batting second while Jacob Young will sit his third straight game.
Paul DeJong is batting seventh and will slide over to short stop. While Josè Tena gets to be in his fourth game of action at third base.

As for the aforementioned reigning champs, the righty red head Dustin May is on the mound tonight. Their everyday left fielder Michael Conforto is out of the lineup and replaced by Chris Taylor who has seen limited action so far this season.
Center fielder Andy Pages will be getting a much needed breather, meaning Tommy Edman will move from second to center. With Miguel Rojas starting up the middle tonight. The top of the lineup stays the same and still is as scary as ever.
