Nats look for the sweep against the Dodgers
Whew! What a past couple of days for Nats baseball, after coming into this Dodger series thinking the absolute worst. The Nationals seem to be clicking as a team. You can see on the player’s faces how much this early April series means to them. What’s better news than beating the Dodgers?
C.J. Abrams is back! After his right thigh tightened on the final play on Sunday vs the Diamondbacks. He will be back in the lead-off spot, with Wood sliding back down to the two hole.
On-base warrior Alex Call continues to stay in the lineup, but away from the top of the card. Josh Bell is back in the DH spot after a night off and Paul DeJong is back at third base. DeJong looked sharp filling in for Abrams at shortstop.

Dodger manager Dave Roberts said today was going to be a “spot start / bullpen game” for his club. Earlier today L.A. recalled Landon Knack from Triple-A, Knack has pitched two innings this year. That was all the way back in March, at the Tokyo Series. He will be on the bump to start.
The bottom of the Dodgers lineup is where we see change from yesterday’s game. Catcher Will Smith is back in the lineup after a day off and takes Enrique Hernandez’s sixth spot, Meaning Hernandez will slide down to eighth.
