There will be a wet end to January before a dry, cooler weekend.
The rain is forecast to start Friday after 9 a.m. with patchy fog in the early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of precipitation is 100 and between a quarter and half of an inch is possible. The high is expected to be around 52 with winds could gust reaching 28 mph.
The overnight low is expected to be near 39 with more rain.

The sun is forecasat to shine again Saturday, the first day of the new month, but with colder temperatures: a high of around 44. The evening forecast is partly cloudy with a low near 28.
Sunday is predicted to be mostly cloudy with a high around 41 and low near 39.
The warm front will highlight the beginning of the work week with temperatures reaching 59 on Monday. The low will fall to 41 in the evening.
Tuesday is predicted to be a bit cooler with a high near 52.
There’s a 30% chance of showers on Wednesday with a high around 51.
More wet conditions are in the forecast calls for Thursday with a 50% chance of rain but with a high around 63.
