Samuel Basallo and the Baysox exploded for five runs in the 12th inning.
Triple-A: Gwinnett Stripers (Braves) 7, Norfolk Tides 2
Norfolk trimmed the lead to two with a pair of runs in the fifth inning, but Gwinnett added three more runs against reliever Trey McGough. Norfolk starter Tucker Davidson allowed an RBI-double in the second before coughing up a three-run homer in the third inning. Wandisson Charles and Corbin Martin both tossed scoreless innings to finish out the game.
Jackson Holliday nearly killed the rally with a double play in the fifth, but both Heston Kjerstad and Billy Cook worked two out walks. The Tides scored their first run on a wild pitch, and Nick Maton earned Norfolk’s only RBI with a single to left field.
Holliday finished 1-for-4 with a double and a walk. Maton and Errol Robinson tallied the only other hits for the Tides. Norfolk utilized a patient approach to total 11 walks on the evening. Kjerstad led the charge with three free passes, and Cook took a pair of bases on balls.
Double-A: Bowie Baysox 7, Somerset Patriots (Yankees) 2
The two teams combined to score only four runs in the first 11 innings before Bowie exploded for five runs in the 12th. TT Bowens scored the go-ahead run after an error at first base. Bowie added its fourth run on a passed ball, and Samuel Basallo plated two more with a two-run single. The Baysox scored their seventh run on Somerset’s third error of the evening.

High-A: Hudson Valley Renegades (Yankees) 11, Aberdeen IronBirds 1
The Renegades scored one run in each of the first four innings. The IronBirds finally got on the board in the top of the fifth, but Hudson Valley responded with six runs in the bottom half of the frame. The crooked number eliminated any potential for a comeback.
Preston Johnson allowed the first four runs, but Aberdeen’s bullpen buckled in the fifth. Bradley Brehmer provided the closest thing to a bright spot on the mound with five strikeouts in 2.1 innings. He allowed one run on a pair of hits.
Enrique Bradfield drove in the IronBirds’ only run with a two-out single. Aberdeen did not record an extra-base hit.
Low-A: Carolina Mudcats (Brewers) 6, Delmarva Shorebirds 5
Aron Estrada provided Delmarva a 5-3 lead with a two-run blast in the eighth inning, but Jiorgeny Casimiri gave the lead right back in the bottom of the eighth. The Shorebirds went quietly in the top of the ninth, and Jared Beck walked the first two batters he faced in the bottom half.
Cooper Pratt reached to load the bases, and Luis Castillo bounced a ball beyond the pitcher. Shortstop Noelberth Romero fired home, but his throw sailed wide to provide Carolina a walk-off victory.
