Despite reports to the contrary, it seems the Philadelphia 76ers could be pulling out of the Bradley Beal sweepstakes.
Per NBCS Philly’s John Clark, “It’s my understanding the Sixers probably will not be a suitor for Bradley Beal. He has a big contract for a lot of money & with the new CBA with aprons that does not allow for much flexibility for roster building. And Sixers believe Tyrese Maxey can be an All Star caliber player.”

With it looking more likely than not that James Harden won’t be back in Philadelphia next year, many immediately looked to the Sixers to make a deal for the Wizards star to supplement some of that potential loss in production.
Beal has been one of the NBA’s best scorers for years now, but he’s played the majority of his career in a non-winning situation in Washington.
No doubt Tyrese Maxey has been a very good player for the 76ers, but its hard to imagine Philly being a major player in the East without another co-star alongside Embiid.
