Corey Kispert underwent a successful surgical procedure on Tuesday in New York City to repair a ligament tear to his left thumb. The injury was sustained in the third quarter against the Denver Nuggets on March 15.
Kispert is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of next season.
Kispert finishes his fourth NBA season with averages of 11.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 26.3 minutes over 61 games with the Washington Wizards. Kispert shot 36.4 percent on 5.4 three-pointers per game.
