Kyle Kuzma: “Playing for Team USA is my number one goal for sure, especially in the Olympics. I had the opportunity to play for them back in 2019 before I broke my foot, but that dream is still very much alive. I think it’s cool that players are going to other countries to play because it’s really hard to make Team USA. It’s the best of the best, and sometimes it’s even political. But I’m going to keep working hard and hopefully get the chance to represent my country.”

Kyle Kuzma: “What the front office has done really well is that now we look like a basketball team. The past couple of years, it’s been a little funky. But now, with modern basketball, we’ve got an electric guard in Jordan Poole. We have wings, whether it’s me, Bilal, or Coulibaly, and we have a big in Gafford who can really affect games defensively because he’s so long and his defensive instincts are amazing. So, we’re building a team right now, and in the next couple of years, with a good draft pick, we can be in a really good place.” -via YouTube / September 11, 2024
Kyle Kuzma: “I’ve always admired Pat Riley, even though I never got to play for him. I respect his approach to basketball and professionalism. When I’m off the court, I’m fun and relaxed, but once I step onto the court, I’m very serious because I love basketball and it’s important to me. What Pat Riley has done with the Heat and throughout his career—from the Showtime Lakers to building the Heat culture—has always been something I’ve admired from afar.” -via YouTube / September 11, 2024
Kyle Kuzma on the Lakers: “I think they gave up on me and that team a little too early. They probably panicked a bit. But in the NBA, things happen fast. It’s always a revolving door, and you never know what’s going to happen next. Looking back, it was a tough stretch, but sometimes things don’t go as planned. I believe we could have contended for more championships if they had stuck with us.” -via YouTube / September 11, 2024
