Everyone’s got an opinion and you already know that not all opinions are equally appreciated. For Washington Wizards swingman Kyle Kuzma, one NBA analyst in particular really got under his skin to the point that he wants the man off the air.
During today’s edition of First Things First, NBA analyst Chris Brossard made the case that Nikola Jokic would be better than Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki if he won an NBA title. But then he may have overstepped a bit by stating that Dirk is “overrated by a lot of people.”
That comment about Dirk definitely set Kuzma off. He took to Twitter this morning and humbly suggested that people with takes like that be taken off TV and are “bad for our sport” as well.
“Can we take people off tv. Like this is so bad for our sport..” Kuzma wrote.
But Kuzma didn’t find a lot of agreement in the comments. Many people accused Kuzma of being too soft for a debate show and feel that Broussard is right about Jokic being better than Dirk.

While it’s debatable whether Dirk Nowitzki or Nikola Jokic is better, saying that Dirk is overrated is just wild.
Over his 20-year career he kept the Mavericks relevant and in the playoffs in many years where they simply didn’t have a ton of talent. He was a 14-time All-Star, the 2007 NBA MVP, the 2011 NBA Finals MVP and will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame later this year.
Show the man a little more respect, please.
