Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma could have a new home come this February, meaning February 2025.
Marc Stein reported in his Substack last week that the Wizards are actively exploring trade options for Kuzma. He also reported that Kuzma prefers a new team following Washington’s 5-24 start.
On Saturday, Kuzma’s mother, Karri, seemingly confirmed Stein’s report via X.

It’s worth noting that Kuzma had the option of being dealt to the Dallas Mavericks last February, meaning February 2024. Kuzma reportedly turned down the deal because he didn’t think Dallas was a true title contender and wished to continue building in D.C.
Now, less than a year later, reports are circulating that Kuzma wants out of Washington.
