Well, I wonder why LeBron James, Jr. is in New York City…..
UPDATE at 6 p.m. ET: The NBA is listing that the New York Knicks have the No. 51 pick, which they used to select Melvin Ajinca with. We won’t write a post on this.
The second round of the 2024 NBA Draft is on at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Washington Wizards officially have the No. 51 overall pick. However, that pick will be traded to the New York Knicks in the now-Kyshawn George deal.
In the interest of fairness, since we did post on Dillon Jones, the No. 26 overall pick who got traded to the Knicks and later on to the Oklahoma City Thunder, we’ll still post on that selection if it’s announced as a Wizards pick in name only. I need to hit my posting quota!
Of course, given that the Wizards have been very active in the first round of the draft last night, Washington could have more second round picks.
