The Washington Wizards guard still gets some love from the fans.
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole remains in the Top 10 among guards of the Eastern Conference after the second round of fan returns. He is eighth place.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokić continue to lead their respective conferences in the second fan returns of #NBAAllStar Voting presented by AT&T.
Fans account for 50% of the vote to decide All-Star starters. Players and a media panel account for 25% each.

In a past era, fans, or the NBA popular vote, determined who started. So Poole is far from being in contention for starting in the All-Star Game. However, today, we have what I call the “NBA Electoral College,” where the fan vote is just 50 percent of the weight behind whether a player starts in the All-Star Game. The media gets 25 percent and players another 25.
If the Wizards were one of the best teams in the NBA, it’s possible that Poole could move up in the final rankings. But unfortunately, I think we are going to have to just be happy to see a Wizard in the Top 10 of any All-Star rankings. Poole is averaging 21.8 points and 5.0 assists per game this season.
