What to watch for
For the Mystics, the main storyline is simple. They are 0-6, tied for worst in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever, who are 1-6. The only reason why both teams are tied is because the Dream have played more games. I’d like to say that the wins are going to come soon enough for the Mystics, but when the Fever are also often losing by single digits in most of their contests, it seems to be a reflection of the reality that both Washington and Indiana will be among the WNBA’s worst teams this season.
As for the Dream, they are 2-2, coming off a 92-79 loss to the Minnesota Lynx last Sunday. Through their four games, Rhyne Howard has been their best statistical performer at 21 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Can the Mystics defy the odds are get this first win behind them tomorrow?
