Pregame notes
The Wizards are letting the youngsters play heavy minutes — It’s encouraging, this year the Wizards are letting the rookies and youngsters get heavy minutes, playing and testing their skills and limits. While this clearly doesn’t translate in the W column, it’s a good sign of team building, and it feels like the team is trending in a more culture-building direction. This trend should obviously only increase in the last stretch of the season, especially with the not-too-short injury list of the Wizards right now…
The Kings? — OrWell, the Kings recently hit the reboot button as Fox was traded. Not so clear where they are headed, especially in the very loaded West. This looks like a potential for stealing a W for the Wiz!
