The Bucks have the misfortune of playing a back-to-back just days after playing an extra game to decide the NBA Cup.
The Washington Wizards are heading to Milwaukee to play the Bucks Saturday night. Here’s the preview.
Game Info
When: 8 p.m. EST on Saturday, Dec. 21
Where: Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
How to watch: Monumental Sports Network (or NBA League Pass if outside of the DMV or the Milwaukee area)
Injuries
Wizards — Kyle Kuzma (ribs) and Saddiq Bey (knee) are both OUT.
Bucks — Khris Middleton (illness) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) are both listed as PROBABLE. Damian Lillard is out with a calf strain for the Bucks’ earlier game, and it is unclear if he will return versus the Wizards.
Game Notes and More
- The Bucks convincingly won the NBA Cup over the Oklahoma City Thunder this week, 97-81. Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the tournament’s MVP after posting 26 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists in the clinching game.
- The Bucks play the Cleveland Cavaliers the night before playing the Wizards, so I would expect some key players to rest for the Wizards game.
- The Wizards are coming off a win against the Charlotte Hornets, their fourth of the year! I covered that win and much more in this week’s edition of the NBA Cellar Dweller Power Rankings, so check that out if you have a chance.
