Game Notes
The Wizards have a chance to go undefeated in 2025. All they need to do is beat a middling Bulls squad that may be missing its best player.
Chicago is 2-3 without LaVine this season. But those two wins came in very close affairs against the 7-26 Toronto Raptors and the 7-25 Charlotte Hornets, whom the Wizards beat just last week. The Bulls defeated the Raptors by just one point, while their win over the Hornets came in overtime.
Washington also has Kyle Kuzma back in the lineup for his second game since a month-long absence due to a rib injury. With a not-so-bad three wins over their last 10 games, the Wizards may be in prime position for a 1-0 start to the new year.
