The Wizards are on a 15 game losing streak… It’s starting to draw some analogies with that Pistons team… It sure looks like it will be 16 after Thursday’s game.

Pregame notes
The Wizards are going on a historic losing streak. They are already at 15. Nobody would be surprised if this becomes 16 after Thursday. Nor would anybody be if it becomes 17 after the next game vs. Denver, and 18 after the one after that against Memphis. Then we have a 11-day stretch which will feature games scheduled based on outcomes from the NBA Cup. This stretch could offer the Wizards the relief they need to break the losing streak as they’d be facing teams that have not qualified to the final stages of the Cup. If that doesn’t work, then they meet Charlotte on Dec. 19 and then again on Dec. 26. So they have a few exit ramps from the losing streak, but if they miss all of them, people will start wondering if they break the Pistons’ “record”.
Flashback: Beal’s all-time poster dunk
I just love this dunk, and I am almost convinced it’s one of Beal’s top highlights as a Wizard. Plus the PANDA STAREDOWN. Got to watch this one more time:
