Can the Wizards snap the 16-game losing streak?
The Washington Wizards are getting some media buzz recently, but not for a good reason: they’ve just lost 16 in a row and the last couple in big blowouts. The Denver Nuggets surely don’t intend to let the Wizards snap that streak at their expense.

Pregame notes
The Denver Nuggets are having a tough season— This season didn’t quite start on a blissful note for the Nuggets, as Jokic publicly voiced his discontent with the summer moves of the franchise. The Nuggets are just a bit better than a .500 team, and in the West that might not be quite good enough for home-court advantage in the playoffs. That would be a first for the Nuggets in a good number of years. It will be interesting to see if and how they can turn things around. The Russell Westbrook experiment has definitely been…interesting.
All too familiar to us Wizards fans.
Flashback: Nikola Jokic vs Bradley Beal (and Thomas Bryant) nostalgia
Five seasons ago Jokic had a typical 15-11-6 game as Beal had a typical 25 point game. Thomas Bryant’s dunk (1:02 in the video below) brings back memories. Nostalgia! In case you’ve wondered, Thomas Bryant, once a Wizard, later a Nugget, is now a Heat player.
