Can the Wizards end their western road trip on a high note?
The Washington Wizards are playing the Dallas Mavericks Monday night. Here’s all the information you need to know ahead of the game.
Game Info
When: 8:30 p.m. EST on Monday, Jan, 26.
Where: American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas
How to watch: Monumental Sports Network or NBA League Pass (if outside of the DMV or Dallas metro area)
Injuries
Wizards: Marvin Bagley (knee) and Malcolm Brogdon (foot) are both listed as OUT. Saddiq Bey (knee) is also still OUT for the season.
Mavericks: Luka Doncic (calf), Dereck Lively II (ankle), Dante Exum (wrist), and Maxi Kleber are all OUT. Naji Marshall (illness) and Dwight Powell (hip) are also both listed as OUT.
Game Notes and More
- If the injury report above was any indication, the Mavericks are incredibly injured this season. The reigning Western Conference champs may not even get a chance to defend their throne if key players like Doncic and Lively don’t heal up soon.
- The Wizards have dropped 13 consecutive games, and though the Mavs are brutally injured, their B squad is still likely good enough to convincingly extend the Wizards’ losing streak. I’m eyeing a home game against Toronto on Wednesday as the Wizards’ best chance to notch their seventh win of the season.
