The Wizards suffered their 11th straight road loss at the hands of the Bucks playing without Giannis or Dame
The Wizards dropped their 11-straight road game against the Milwaukee Bucks, 112-101. Despite Giannis Antetokoumnpo and Damian Lillard sitting out, the Wizards trailed Milwaukee for most of the game and fell behind by 22 at one point. Washington shot well from, a rare occurrence so far this season. They hit 18 threes, the second most they’ve had this year, at a 42.9% clip. But their struggles from inside the arc (18/38, 47% on twos) and 19 turnovers sunk any hopes of a win. The loss was another tough one to take for Wizards fans, but hopefully, the Bucks putting up the lamest banner ever will make you smile.

Jordan Poole came out of the gate firing. He poured in 16 points and five threes in the first quarter. He also didn’t turn the ball over in the first quarter. However, Poole would cool off through the game. After starting 5-of-8 from the field, he would go 3-of-10 for the rest of the game and ended up with 7 turnovers. On the bright side, Bilal Coulibaly played aggressively on offense. He put up 20 points on 13 field goal attempts, his 5th consecutive game with 10+ FGs, and 5 assists. His seven free throw attempts also show that he’s playing more aggressively on offense.
The Wizards hit the road to play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Kyle Kuzma may return in that game. See you then!
