The Wizards were leading for most of the first half, but fell apart in the second.
The Washington Wizards lost to the Houston Rockets, 135-112 on Tuesday night at Capital One Arena.
This game was mildly disappointing for the Wizards because they were leading for most of the first half even though they were behind 57-55 at halftime. They shot 46.3 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from the three point line.
But in the second half, Jalen Green scored 22 of his 29 points in the second half and the Rockets shot a blistering 58.3 percent from the field. In addition, Alperen Sengun scored 26 points. Houston outscored Washington, 78-57 in the second half.
For the Wizards, Corey Kispert led with 23 points. Bub Carrington and Bilal Coulibaly also added 12 points each.
