The Washington Wizards has only been in D.C. for a few months, and teams are lining up to see if he is available for a trade.
Earlier today, I wrote about trade rumors swirling around Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma. There was more in that report by Michael Scotto of Hoopshype. Guard Malcolm Brogdon is also a target for multiple teams as well.
Brogdon has only played seven games so far for Washington, but he is already making an impact, averaging 14.6 points and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 55.1 percent from the floor. Brogdon’s career average is 15.4 points, where he has averaged in double digits for scoring since graduating with his master’s degree at the University of Virginia in 2016.
I’m not surprised that Brogdon is a major trade target. His contract of $22.5 million ends after this season. And more importantly, Brogdon has been a consistent scorer at every team he has played for, whether it was the Milwaukee Bucks where he won Rookie of the Year honors, or the Boston Celtics in 2022-23 when he won the Sixth Man of the Year.
How much do you think Brogdon would yield in a trade? Let us know in the comments below.
