The gap in early December is now closed.
On Monday, the Washington Wizards announced their two additional regular season games for the 2023-24 NBA season.
These game dates in early December were determined by the standings of the NBA In-Season Tournament. Washington was eliminated from contention a long time ago, but they had to see how other teams were doing.
So now that the games are played, here are the Wizards’ additional opponents.
- Wednesday, Dec. 6 vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7 p.m. ET
- Friday, Dec. 8 at Brooklyn Nets, 7:30 p.m. ET.
All games will be televised locally on Monumental Sports Network. None will be on national television.
Both the 76ers and Nets are in the playoff hunt, in particular the Sixers. They shouldn’t have a difficult time beating the Wizards on paper. But that doesn’t mean that that is guaranteed to happen of course.
