2024 Fantasy Hockey Week 11 is upon us, so let’s dive in and have a look at some teams with good schedules to stream players from. It is a well-balanced week on the NHL schedule, so you won’t have too much of a difficult time starting players. It is still best to maximize your games played by adding players who are playing on off nights throughout the week. That being said, let’s look at three teams who have great streaming schedules for Week 11.
Fantasy Hockey Week 11 Streamers
Stream Florida’s Second Powerplay
Florida is a top-heavy team, which means their most valuable players are likely all taken in fantasy leagues. The Panthers play on all four light days this week, so streaming anyone on the team would guarantee them into your lineup each night.
For deep league streamers this week, zero in on Florida’s second power play unit. Specifically, Anton Lundell and Evan Rodrigues.
Lundell has been cold as of late, but no better time to snap a cold streak than a four-game week. He started the season on fire after receiving a bump in deployment due to Aleksander Barkov’s injury. Now Lundell is limited to third-line minutes but is still getting time on the second powerplay.
Unlike Lundell, Rodrigues is playing on the Panthers’ second line with Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk, who are both having strong seasons. Lundell and Rodrigues are both capable of putting up points, hits, and shots. With a strong upcoming schedule, they are good 2024 fantasy hockey week 11 streams.
Washington’s Goalies Are Good Options This Season
Logan Thompson has been one of the best goalies in the NHL this season since being traded to Washington. Charlie Lindgren carried the Capitals to the playoffs last season and is playing well again this season. With 14 games played each as of December 13th, Spencer Carbery is happy to split starts for this tandem.
At this point of the season, it’s likely Thompson is not available in many leagues, but you can still spot-start Lindgren when he is playing. With a back-to-back this week for the Caps and Carbery committing to splitting starts, Lindgren should get two games. Lindgren has stepped up his play lately, recording wins in six of his last seven games. He is a safe stream for the week if you need goalie starts from free agency.
On offense, Pierre-Luc Dubois has been hot lately. With six points in his last five games, he is a great depth option to be streaming right now. He is also getting good deployment, with over two minutes average TOIPP. At under 50% rostered on Fantrax, Dubois is available in the majority of leagues. With a four-game schedule ahead of him, Dubois is worth an add for the week.
Blackwood is a Must-Add Goalie
The Avalanche have a busy four-game week ahead of them which should see the debut of goalie Mackenzie Blackwood. After acquiring two new goalies in recent weeks, the Avalanche are hoping they have a strong duo in Scott Wedgewood and Blackwood. Blackwood has had a good start to the season on a rebuilding San Jose team with a .909 SV%. Coming to a better situation in Colorado makes Blackwood a must-add goalie right now. He is still available in more than 45% of leagues on Fantrax and could turn into a league-winning pickup.
If you are looking for a weekly stream from the Avalanche, consider Devon Toews. We mentioned Toews as a player to drop early this season. However, he is starting to turn up the point production. In his last six games, Toews has five assists, which is nearly half of his season total. During that span, he has played over 26 minutes in four games. He is getting great deployment to be able to produce. If you need a defencemen and Toews is available, he could be a good stream for the week.
Up front, Casey Mittelstadt is an available streaming option. Mittelstadt is averaging over 18 minutes TOI this season and over three minutes per game on the power play. He has had a rough stretch of games dating back to mid-November but was a must-roster player for the first month of the season. What is alarming for Mittelstadt is his shot production of late. In his last ten games, he has only recorded four SOG. If these numbers go back up to where he was early this season, Mittelstadt would be a solid option in deep leagues. In a four-game week, it’s worth taking a flyer on Mittelstadt if you have a roster spot open.
