Sadiq White, a recently named five star in the Class of 2025, has committed to Syracuse, he announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-8 forward chose the Orange over and USC, LSU, Georgetown, Tennessee, Texas and Alabama, among others.
Syracuse recently had three coaches in attendance for White at the first EYBL Live Period.
“Those guys have been consistent with me since Day 1 since they started recruiting me,” he said. “Just the genuine love they show, the relationship that we built has been very, very strong at the moment, and I’m just continuing to build with those guys.”
White is the first commit of Adrian “Red” Autry’s class of 2025. Autry continues his momentum after a successful 2024 cycle where he hauled in five star Donnie Freeman and four star Elijah Moore in his first full season on the trail.
In terms of play style, White possesses a unique game: He has uber length and an extreme vertical that screams high upside off the bat. His athleticism makes him a very versatile defender and a forward who can get down the floor in transition.
