Allen — the 6-foot-3, 210-pound guard from the Nightrydas Elite AAU program — is having quite the summer on the EYBL circuit. The guard has stood out for his toughness and energy, and he has the statistics to show for it. This past Memorial Day weekend in Kansas City, Allen averaged 14.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game while also grabbing nine steals in five games.
“Dante has always stood out to me, both in high school and AAU, every time I have seen him play over the years,” Montverde head coach Kevin Boyle said. “He is always vocal, always playing hard, and his teams always seem to win. We think we can help him get better and take the next step so that he is ready for college, but we also think he will help us tremendously and he will be a key reason why we will be in position to defend our national championship and go back-to-back.”
This past season Montverde defeated Paul VI Catholic, 79-63, to win Chipotle Nationals.
“I’ll be there for my last year,” Allen said. “For a few reasons because they have maybe the highest level for training for high schoolers, they’ll have probably have the best schedule possible, and mainly I wanted to show that I can run alongside and against the best players in the country.”
Allen is ranked the No. 78 overall prospect via 247Sports and the No. 10 player in the state of Florida. He will be joined at Montverde by names like top-30 small forward Hudson Greer and a few talented class of 2026 prospects like five-star point guard Kayden Allen and Ace Flagg.
