NOTES
Thomas Sorber was named Big East freshman of the week for the second time this season on Monday. Jayden Epps was named to the league’s Honor Roll.
BACK HOME
Georgetown is back on campus. Hosting schools like Wagner at McDonough makes a lot of sense right now. If you can justify the $40 ticket price to get in, get down to Georgetown.
WHAT’S AT STAKE
Georgetown: It’s another ‘must-not-lose’ game for the Hoyas who really shouldn’t be tested again until a trip to Morgantown on Dec. 6. Two of Wagner’s three wins this season are against non-D1 schools. The Seahawks scored just 28 points – for the game – in a loss at Seton Hall. Georgetown coach Ed Cooley has shortened his rotation but is still looking for another 3-point threat to emerge. Currently the Hoyas are shooting a Big East worst 28.1% from deep.
