Former Kansas State guard Brendan Hausen has committed to Iowa, his agent Drew Kelso told ZAGSBLOG.
Hausen — the 6-foot-4, 205-pound guard from Amarillo (TX) — averaged 10.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game last season for Kansas State. He shot 39.0% from the field and 90-of-232 (38.8%) from 3-point range.
The guard started his career at Villanova and was there for two years before transferring to Kansas State. He’s shot 39.1% from deep for his total three-year career on 455 attempts. Hausen’s most productive season was last year with Jerome Tang and the Wildcats.
As a high school prospect, Hausen was a four-star recruit. He is ranked the No. 109 player in the transfer portal by 247Sports.
Ben McCollum now has six commits out of the transfer portal including Hausen, Bennett Stirtz, Cam Manyawu, Isaia Howard, Kael Combs and Tavion Banks.
