Hunter Dickinson, one of the biggest names in this year’s NCAA transfer portal, has reportedly narrowed his options down to four frontrunners.
While several big-name programs have gotten into the mix for the former Michigan center, he apparently has four most-likely landing spots: Kansas, Georgetown, Maryland and Villanova (per 247Sports).
Dickinson, the No. 1 ranked transfer in this year’s pool, has also done zoom meetings with SEC programs Arkansas and Kentucky. But, the star big man is reportedly less likely to makes these his destination.
The All-Big Ten 7-footer first joined Juwan Howard’s Michigan program as a four-star recruit in the 2020 class. He claimed the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award in 2020-21 and averaged more than 18 points per game in each of the last two seasons.
This past season, Dickinson became just the sixth Wolverine in program history to pass the 1,500-point, 750-rebound mark. He’s also tied for the sixth all-time position with 31 career double-doubles.
Wherever he lands, Dickinson will provide some excellent size and veteran leadership at the center position.
