Former Maryland football starting quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. announced his commitment to Wisconsin on X Monday, after entering the transfer portal four days prior.

Edwards spent three seasons at Maryland, earning the starting job for the first time this year. In 11 games this season, Edwards threw for 2,881 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Maryland will play at Wisconsin next season on Sept. 20.
