Maryland football starting kicker Jack Howes entered the transfer portal, he announced on social media Wednesday.

Howes, who will be a redshirt senior in the fall, appeared in all 25 games over the last two seasons, making 77-of-79 (97.5%) extra points and 24-of-35 (68.6%) field goals, with a long of 49 yards.
Redshirt junior Gavin Marshall is the only other kicker on the roster to play for Maryland, appearing in two games last year and hitting his only extra point attempt.
