Maryland Athletics announced a significant change to its season ticket model starting in the 2025-26 seasons, as stated in a release on Tuesday.
The new model will transition to a per seat contribution for both Maryland football and men’s basketball. For football, certain sections will not require a per seat contribution. However, for men’s basketball, all season ticket holders will become Terrapin Club members, with each seat in the XFINITY Center requiring at least a $25 per seat contribution.
Additionally, a new priority ranking system will be introduced to allow ticket holders to choose purchasing options that best suit their needs.
Several other enhancements will also be introduced under the new system. This includes the Maryland Club inside XFINITY Center, which will offer an exclusive bar, dining, lounge, and gameday experience. Moreover, the athletics department has confirmed that SECU Stadium will feature wider lower-level seating.
