On this week’s episode of the Under the Shell Podcast, hosts Brendan Weissel, Sam Jane and Michael Howes are joined by Harry Geller, Turtle NIL founder and major Maryland athletics booster.
Geller discussed Maryland’s men’s basketball head coach and athletic director vacancies. He also touched on how he began Turtle NIL and his role in supporting Maryland athletics.
“I left on March 14th … having an athletic director and basketball coach, and I came back on March 31 and they’re gone,” Geller said.
The hosts then tackled Maryland’s coaching candidates — from Tony Skinn and Duane Simpkins to Buzz Williams and Luke Murray — and listed their strengths and weaknesses.
“This is an extremely fertile area for recruiting and someone who knows it gives you a leg up,” Geller said. “I welcome someone who’s been here before or a former player.”
