Nelligan recently concluded his 16th season at the helm — finishing with its best NCAA regional performance in program history. The coach discussed how the program has grown in his tenure, taking over the helm from his father and the rise of collegiate women’s sports.
“The relationship that we have with our student athletes today is due to the way my father kind of ran his team and his culture,” Nelligan said. “He was just clearly ahead of his time on that.”
The hosts also discussed the lacrosse teams’ wins over Johns Hopkins, baseball’s upcoming series against Nebraska and what to watch in football’s spring game.
