Lochte called Derik Queen’s game-winning shot against Colorado State to send Maryland to the Sweet 16. The senior posted his WMUC call to X following the game — which went viral. The video now has amassed over a million views and 14,000 likes.

“It was just the craziest thing ever,” Lochte said. “I would never have expected this.”
The hosts also previewed the upcoming matchup against Florida and voiced their opinions on coach Kevin Willard keeping the program in limbo about his future at Maryland. They also discussed the departure of athletic director Damon Evans and the effects it could have on football coach Michael Locksley.
