The Ohio State Buckeyes have never lost a game against Maryland. But after a rough first half against the Terrapins, Urban Meyer believes that a change need to be made immediately.
During Fox’s halftime coverage of the game, the former Ohio State head coach made it clear that Ohio State is not controlling the line of scrimmage. He said that it needs to “change fast” in the second half if the Buckeyes want to avoid an upset.
“The line of scrimmage has been lost in the first half. That’s gotta change fast.”
Maryland boasts one of the best offenses in the country, but to everyone’s surprise it was their defense that got the job done, holding the Buckeyes to just 10 points while taking a 10-10 halftime tie.

This is already the third or fourth time that we’ve seen Ohio State get off to a sluggish start. But while they’ve always managed to finish strong, the fact that they’ve struggled against so many teams that they should have no issues at all running up the score on has made a lot of people nervous.
Ohio State fell from No. 3 to No. 6 despite winning their first two games against Indiana and Youngstown State for that very reason.
