The Baltimore Ravens were a very different team coming out of the halftime break and a lot of that reportedly had to do with Lamar Jackson’s fiery speech in the locker room.
Tied 10-10 after two quarters, Jackson said following the game that he did “a lot of cursing” as he urged his team play better over the final 30 minutes. And that they did, scoring 24 unanswered points that included three touchdowns from the former MVP.
“A lot of cursing”
Lamar Jackson sparked the Ravens in the second half with his words, legs and arm.
He became the fifth player in NFL history to record two touchdown passes and two rushing TDs in the same playoff game.

“Lamar did a great job,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said, via ESPN.com. “A lot of that was his thinking, as well. He was all over it — what we felt we needed to do in the second half.”
Jackson and the Ravens looked every bit like the top seed in the AFC in the third and fourth quarters as they churned out yards and kept the ball out of C.J. Stroud’s hands.
Lamar finished with 252 total yards and four scores in the 34-10 win.
Now Baltimore moves one step closer to capturing the third Super Bowl in the franchise’s 28 seasons.
