There was a very controversial moment in last night’s Ravens-49ers game when Lamar Jackson got tripped up by a referee who was in the endzone and fell down, causing a safety. But while that play could have decided the game had it played out differently, Jackson isn’t letting it bother him.
Speaking to the media after the game, Jackson said that the referee who tripped him apologized to him. He said that it was “all good” but lamented that the two points the 49ers got off the safety could have been a problem.
“He came back and apologized, like, ‘My bad,’ but it’s all good,” Jackson said. “It’s all good. But those two points helped them out a lot.”
Granted, if the Ravens had lost the game by one point he might feel a bit differently. But a 33-19 win over one of the NFC’s best teams will remove a lot of troubles.
