During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected Lamar Jackson with the 32nd overall pick. He was the fifth quarterback to come off the board.
Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen and Josh Rosen were all drafted ahead of Jackson in 2018. Fast forward to the present day, and Jackson is on the cusp of being a two-time MVP with a Super Bowl appearance under his belt.
On Tuesday, a video of Jackson’s highlights at Louisville resurfaced on social media. This video was accompanied by a caption that said, “Teams really saw this and said ‘nah we cool.'”
Jackson responded to this social media post with the laughing emoji.

Shortly after the Ravens selected Jackson in the 2018 draft, he said, “They’re gonna get a Super Bowl out of me, believe that.”
Well, Jackson is two more wins away from fulfilling his promise to Baltimore.
Jackson had 152 passing yards, 100 rushing yards and four total touchdowns in a Divisional Round victory over the Texans. If he has a similar performance in the AFC Championship Game, the internet may break.
As of now, the Ravens are betting favorites against the Chiefs. Jackson’s dual-threat capabilities are a big reason why.
