Lamar Jackson is locked in with the Baltimore Ravens.
On Thursday, Jackson and his team released a joint video statement announcing his new longterm contract extension.
“For the last few months, there’s been a lot of ‘he said, she said.’ A lot of nail-biting — a lot of head scratching,” Jackson said. “But for the next five years, it’s a lot of Flock going on. Let’s go baby!
“Can’t wait to get there. Can’t wait to be there.”
“We’ve agreed in principle on a 5-year contract extension with QB [Lamar Jackson],” the team wrote on Twitter.

Jackson and the Ravens have been involved in intense negotiations over the last few months. The team hit him with a non-exclusive franchise tag earlier this offseason and had until July 17 to make this ultimate decision.
Monetary details of this five-year contract have not yet been released, but Jackson is expected to land a massive payday.
