It took a while for it to happen, but Lamar Jackson just got paid with a capital P.
Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a five-year contract that makes him the highest-paid player in the NFL, according to reports. In total, the deal is said to be worth $260 million.
Of that sum, $185 million is guaranteed, which is more than in the deal Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles just signed.
“Fully guaranteed was never gonna happen but $185M is a W,” one person said in response to details of the contract.
