Alabama would’ve defeated Michigan convincingly on Monday night if it reached the national title game. That blasphemous statement was actually made by Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
Towards the end of the national title game, Humphrey said the lights were “too bright” for Washington. He claims that wouldn’t have been the case for Alabama.
“Yea Alabama beats both these teams by 30,” Humphrey wrote. “Lights were wayy too bright for Washington.”

There’s one huge problem with this statement from Humphrey: Alabama already lost to Michigan in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.
Despite leading late in the fourth quarter of the Rose Bowl, Alabama was unable to take care of business against Michigan. Nick Saban’s offense had a chance to even the score up in overtime, but Jalen Milroe got stuffed inside the five-yard line.
It’s possible Humphrey was just trying to troll the internet with his comment about Alabama. If he was serious though, he may want to consider checking his fandom at the door.
