Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is the newest member of the Miami Dolphins, signing with the AFC East contender on an incentive-laden deal. He’s quickly working to familiarize himself with his new team.
In a video shared by the Dolphins’ official social media accounts, the former Offensive Rookie of the Year said that he was excited for the opportunity to play in Miami and is ready to get to work.
“What’s going on man? OBJ here. Fins Nation: Excited about the opportunity. Ready to get to work man. Let’s do it,” Beckham said.

2024 wasn’t exactly OBJ’s best year though. He played in 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens last year, starting only six of them, and finished the year with 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. OBJ didn’t exactly turn on the juice in the postseason either, making just four receptions for 35 yards in the playoffs.
The last few years overall have been tough on OBJ as a slew of injuries have limited him to just 35 games in the past four years. You have to go all the way back to 2019 for his last 1,000-yard season.
But on a team that already has a very solid receiving corps and some talented running backs, OBJ doesn’t need to be the go-to guy, just a player who can make a few clutch plays here and there.
What kind of role will Odell Beckham Jr. wind up having in Miami? Will he return to Pro Bowl form this year?
