It’s been an up-and-down season for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Ahead of Monday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, he’s hoping that week will be one of the “up” games.
But Beckham is going to have to battle his own body in order to get onto the starting lineup next week. According to Ravens insider Jamison Hensley of ESPN, Beckham did not practice today due to an illness.
Also limited in practice were No. 1 wide receiver Zay Flowers with a foot injury and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley with a concussion. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh expressed confidence that Flowers’ injury would not keep him from playing on Monday against the 49ers.
Defensive back Jalyn Armour-Davis did not practice with a concussion while defensive backs Arthur Maulet and Marcus Williams were limited with injuries of their own.

In 12 games this season, Odell Beckham Jr. has 32 receptions for 519 yards and three touchdowns. But he’s had only three games with more than 50 receiving yards in a game.
Suffice it to say, he hasn’t really been the big impact wide receiver for the Ravens that they were probably hoping for.
But the Ravens are still the leaders in the AFC North by a solid margin and could wrap up the division as soon as this weekend.
Maybe OBJ will turn things on in the postseason.
