The Baltimore Ravens are looking for another wide receiver to add to their ranks this offseason. One prospective option is meeting with the team tomorrow.
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Lions are set to host former Detroit Lions wide receiver and current free agent Josh Reynolds for a visit. Reynolds started 13 of 17 games for the Lions this past year, recording 40 receptions for 608 yards and five touchdowns – all top four on the team as they went on to win the NFC North title.
“Lions free-agent WR Josh Reynolds is on his way to Baltimore to visit Friday with the Ravens,” Schefter wrote.
Prior to playing for the Lions, Reynolds spent his first four NFL seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, recording 113 receptions for 1,450 yards and nine touchdowns over 64 games with the team.
The Ravens lost wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Devin Duvernay in free agency. Beckham is still a free agent while Duvernay has already signed with the Jaguars. Baltimore have since replenished their receiving corps with Nelson Agholor to start, inking him to a one-year, $3.75 million deal.
Even if Reynolds doesn’t leave Baltimore with a contract, the team will still probably remain active in the wide receiver market – if not in free agency, then in either the NFL Draft or in the post-draft wave of free agency.
Will Reynolds sign with the Ravens? If not, where will he play in 2024?
