Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has been named as part of an investigation into an alleged domestic assault.
According to the Baltimore Banner, Baltimore County Police are investigating an alleged domestic assault involving Flowers. Per the report, an Acton, Massachusetts police department has also been included as part of the investigation.
“Acton Police declined to release the report, citing state laws that keep confidential communications between victims and police in cases of domestic violence or sexual assault. An Acton Police spokesman also cited the law and declined to answer questions on the matter,” the outlet reported.
Flowers has not been charged with a crime and the outlet was unable to receive responses from the Ravens or Flowers’ agent regarding questions they had.

Zay Flowers led the Baltimore Ravens in receptions and receiving yards as a rookie this past season.
If a Massachusetts police department is involved though, it’s possible that the incident might stem back to something that occurred while Flowers was still in college at Boston College.
We will monitor this situation for any relevant updates.
