There’s reportedly still one big name the Seattle Seahawks are interested in as their coaching search continues. But the team has yet to schedule an interview with him.
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN: the team has shown interest in Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald despite not requesting a head coaching interview with him yet.
Noting, “Depending how the coaching search goes, Macdonald appears to be a name to watch.”

Macdonald has been one of the hottest candidates in this year’s coaching cycle with how dominant the Ravens defense has been this season.
The 36-year-old came back to Baltimore after spending a season as Jim Harbaugh’s DC at Michigan in 2021 and has since then has really made a name for himself in league circles.
The Seahawks’ search has narrowed a bit after the Panthers and Falcons made their selections. However, Dan Quinn seems to be a name that’s still very connected to Seattle’s organization.
We’ll see what happens in the days and weeks to come.
