There are eight whole teams left in the NFL playoffs right now. But the sports bettors seem to believe that two players are the clear frontrunners to be named Super Bowl MVP.
According to NBC Sports Bet, the DraftKings Sportsbook has just two players with Super Bowl MVP odds below +500. Those two are Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson at +310 and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.
Jackson is already the prohibitive favorite to win the NFL MVP award. He is coming off his best season and led the Ravens to the best record in the NFL this year.
Purdy is in his second year and might have led the 49ers to the Super Bowl last year were it not for an injury in the NFC Championship Game against the Eagles.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes are the only other players with Super Bowl MVP odds better than +1000.
Who will win MVP of the big game? 🤔

Of course, Jackson and Purdy have to get their teams to the Super Bowl first in order to even be eligible for the award, let alone win it. That’ll be no easy task as both of them face stiff challenges from the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers respectively.
Will either Jackson or Purdy even play in the Super Bowl?
