Ravens practice attendance continues to see all on the field except Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers
For the second straight practice before the Divisional round between the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills, all Ravens were in attendance save for Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers.
On Monday, Head Coach John Harbaugh said Flowers could play against the Bills in the game even without practicing, but the continued absence of him in practice furthers the belief he just may not be ready in time. With Flowers suffering suffering a knee injury, it’s hard to imagine Flowers — whose skillset relies heavily on acceleration, speed and agility — could return to the field and play in a cold, physical atmosphere, even considering the stakes.
Fortunately, the Ravens have everyone else in attendance. And while much has changed for both teams since Week 4, the Ravens’ rushing attack is likely their greatest asset when facing the Bills’ defense. Continuing to plow straight ahead with running back Derrick Henry, while utilizing Lamar Jackson’s rushing threat, may still be their best way to win on Sunday.
