Every time the Washington Commanders (0-1) and the New York Giants (0-1) meet these days, it seems that, if not both, the NFC East rivals are at a crossroads. This time, it’s the Giants.
Both teams are coming off double-digit Week 1 losses, but New York looked horrible in all phases. The Vikings blew out the Giants 28-6 at MetLife Stadium, with fans booing the home team in the first quarter — of Week 1.
New York head coach Brian Daboll and quarterback Daniel Jones need a win. The good news is Daboll is 3-0-1 vs. Washington, while Jones is 5-2-1. Of course, this is a new regime for the Commanders and head coach Dan Quinn dominated the Giants during his three seasons as defensive coordinator of the Cowboys.
