Everyone knows the Washington Commanders must solve the quarterback position. And with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, the Commanders are positioned well to land their franchise quarterback.
Washington has other needs, too. Perhaps one of the Commanders’ most pressing needs is an edge rusher. Washington traded Montez Sweat and Chase Young at the NFL trade deadline. Backups James Smith-Williams, Casey Toohill and Efe Obada are all free agents. K.J. Henry and Andre Jones Jr. are entering their second season with plenty to prove.
